The Zoom H3-VR is a compact audio recorder with a built-in Ambisonics mic array, designed for flexible 360° audio capture. It features integrated Ambisonics A-to-B conversion, eliminating the need for external processing, and is suitable for various applications including VR, AR, music recording, sound for film, and live streaming.

The H3-VR offers four microphone capsules arranged in an Ambisonics mic array, allowing for recording in Ambisonics, stereo binaural, or standard stereo modes. It supports full-sphere surround sound recording at up to 24-bit / 96 kHz resolution and provides real-time stereo/binaural monitoring. The recorder also features onboard Ambisonics A-to-B conversion and supports exporting recordings as stereo, binaural, or 5.1 audio files.
