The remarkably adaptable Zoom LiveTrak L-12 serves as a versatile 12-channel digital mixer and multitrack recorder, suitable for various applications such as live performances, studio recording, band rehearsals, podcasts, and more. This compact mixer comprises 8 mono channels, each equipped with combination mic/line XLR-1/4″ inputs featuring high gain, low-noise microphone preamps, +48V phantom power, and a single compression knob. Additionally, the two stereo inputs offer dual 1/4″ and RCA inputs. Channels 1-2 also feature Hi-Z inputs tailored for guitars and basses. All channels seamlessly integrate with the onboard channel strip, providing essential functionalities including a low-cut filter, a 3-band EQ, a pan control, and a send FX to route signals to the 16 built-in high-quality effects processor with a dedicated EFX Return channel.
The main output employs balanced XLR outputs, and a stereo monitor send is accessible via two 1/4″ outputs. Moreover, the Zoom LiveTrack L-12 features five headphone outputs, each allowing users to customize mixes according to their preferences. Simply connect your headphones and adjust the levels accordingly. The device also includes nine snapshot presets, facilitating instant recall of different setups and sessions.
The built-in SD recorder enables simultaneous recording of every channel and the master fader stereo signal output, resulting in a total of 14 tracks at resolutions up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. Files can be effortlessly transferred to a computer for further editing in a DAW. Furthermore, overdubbing and punching in/out functionalities are seamlessly integrated, typical of a multi-track recorder. The L-12 doubles as a 14-in/4-out USB audio interface, allowing direct recording to preferred software DAWs or iOS devices. Noteworthy features also include 12-segment LED meters on all channels, a built-in metronome, and a built-in slate mic for take identification. The Zoom LiveTrack L-12 is shipped with a power cord and a USB cable.
